Argentine-born actor, radio announcer and performer Tito Licausi died December 5, 2008 in Miami, where he resided for years and conducted “La hora del Tango” on Radio Caracol (1260 AM). We’re paying a right and sincere tribute to a man who with his work has projected the Argentine image through the media wherever he has been called to act. He is the author of the book “Gardel is not a myth” that was distinguished at the Book Fair in Buenos Aires.
With more than 70 years as an actor, he has been featured in Argentine films such as “Nace la libertad” and “El juramento de Lagardere,” among others, and also worked for Radio WADO in New York.
We remember his voice and honor his memory in his final journey.

Su imagen se mantendra eternamente entre quenes tuvimos el placer de conocerlo y compartir alegres momentos,llenos de musica,nostalgia y recuerdos argentinos.
Tito supo plasmar en su programa radial sus conocimientos del tango y hacer conocer la trajectoria de quien fuera uno de los mas grande interpretes del genero Carlos Gardel.
Chau, Tito ! ya nos encontraremos en la eternidad.

hola que tal.quede sorprendido cuando abri la pagina de tito licausi ,demas estas en decirles que tito era mi primo,les escribo para informarles que el no se llamaba como dicen alberto,si no que su nombre era nicolas vicente licausi,mi nombre es ernesto angel cefarelli,soy de rosario santa fe republica argentina,o sea la tierra natal de tito,yo soy musico toco bandoneon y mi primo tito me habia invitado muchas vesces ir a trabajar a eeuu,pero por razones de mi familia nunca pude viajar,si le interea material de tango escribamen a adelantado5@hotmail.com .ar
